This dive is another Boat entrance from the site of Tulamben Drop off. Only a 5 minute Jukung boat journey leads us to the 2 large rocks which indicate the Site. Beginning the dive following a beautiful sloping coral reef, the scenery becomes increasingly more dramatic, displaying many steep ridges encrusted in hard and soft corals and provides a perfect spot for sheltering from the often strong currents present here. Because of these stronger currents and the topography of the dive site, it makes this dive rich in plankton which can increase the chance to see some of the larger pelagics - barracuda, napoleon wrasse, rays, white and black tip reef sharks and Dogtooth Tuna are commonly spotted here. You can hang out next to the ridges here and wait to see if it’s your lucky day!
The currents can often become quite strong so stay close to your guide and control your buoyancy and depth at all times.
