Japanese Ship Wreck

Entrance: Shore

Level: Intermediate

Depth 5-30

Dive Type: Reef, Ship Wreck

A small drive in the opposite direction of Tulamben bring us to a ship wreck of which no-one is really sure of the history! It’s a small 20 meter long wooden boat, sunk in WW2 which lies in the shallow entrance of the bay. Many reef fish can be spotted here and also the toilet of the ship on the seaward side! We don’t spend the entire dive here. After a short time swimming around the ship we then head out onto the reef where you will find some of the healthiest corals around and very good chances to see the pygmy’s here with our experienced guides. With often some unpredictable currents here, you will always be with a guide who is experienced in this dive site ensuring we dive at the best possible time and keeping you safe - with this in mind, it’s a very enjoyable dive with lots to offer!
